It's amazing how down and depressed we can become and how easily we forget the blessing of Jesus Christ. As I was asking the Lord where is the fellowship? Sure enough later on a friend of mine told me I should start a bible study for Calvary Chapel Pasco. At first my head was saying you're too young, too inexperienced, and not highly intelligible with the scriptures. But so clearly my friend said the Lord said to me that you need to do it! As I prayed and waited to seek the Lord, He said so clearly "so what?" God is the ultimate authority over who he will send to minister and God will put his words on our lips. It was so cool because I just read a passage in Exodus 4:11 "The Lord said to him, Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say."
God's conviction is what matters. God will provide the message that his people wants to hear and God will bring repentence. We are only the vessel in which he eloquently drives toward his glory and fame.
By the way, on a less spiritual note, I could not withstand the African heatwave that we call tropical weather here in Florida. I made an executive decision to get my baptist haircut for the kingdom of God. Recently after I had cut my hair I read a verse in 1st Corinthians Chapter 11 where it speaks that long hair is the shame of a man.
Anyway God bless and please continue to read!
Keep it coming Joey! Glad to see you got a haircut for the glory of God!!! j/k...
